Experience matters!

Reagan was an absolute joy to work with! She made my wedding morning feel relaxing and made sure I felt pampered, listened to, and comfortable from start to finish.

I had completely forgotten to bring a speaker to play music while getting ready, but Reagan came prepared with her own and even handled the music for me so I had one less thing to think about. The skincare and skin prep she did before my makeup honestly felt like I was at a spa.

She was just as attentive while doing my hair. Before she even started placing bobby pins, she told me that if anything was poking or uncomfortable, I needed to speak up immediately and not feel bad about it because she wanted me to be comfortable all day and night. That may seem like a small thing, but I really appreciated how much she cared about not only how everything looked, but how I actually felt wearing it.

On a normal day, I wear little to no makeup, so I told Reagan that I wanted to still look and feel like myself, just elevated and bridal. She executed that perfectly.

She offers false lashes, but when it came time to put them on, I mentioned that every time I had worn lashes in the past, they had felt uncomfortable and poked me all night. She offered to apply them first so I could see how I felt. She took her time applying them, but I quickly realized the feeling would be too distracting for me throughout the night. I told her I would rather skip them, and without missing a beat, she removed them and continued on. She never once made me feel like I was being difficult or inconvenient.

Before she let me look in the mirror for the first time, she also made sure to tell me that if there was anything I wanted changed, I should absolutely speak up, and that she would not be offended if I didn’t have some huge, dramatic reaction.

When I first looked, I was honestly a little shocked simply because I am so not used to seeing myself in a full face of makeup. My immediate thought was that the eyes might be too dark, and I started worrying that I would regret how I looked or dislike the photos later. Reagan was completely graceful about it. I told her I thought the eyes were a little too dark, she lightened them up, and then let me look again. She was incredibly patient while I went outside to check everything in natural light and looked at myself in a full-length mirror.

I decided it looked good, but deep down I was still nervous simply because I wasn’t used to seeing myself that done up. Then my sister took a candid picture of me on her phone, and the second I saw it, I realized I LOVED it. All of those nerves immediately went away, and I was so happy I had chosen Reagan to do my hair and makeup. After receiving the sneak peeks from my photographer, I’m even more obsessed. Reagan did SO good!

My hair and makeup also stayed looking amazing all night. We were outside in South Mississippi in the summer, and after the ceremony I took absolutely zero precautions to stay looking perfect. I let loose and had fun. I was sweating, crying, laughing, hugging people, dancing, and even having a cake fight with my husband—and somehow my hair and makeup still looked great.

Reagan also came prepared with absolutely everything she needed: lights, a chair, tables, a trash can—literally everything. She left me with lip gloss, a powder puff, and a beauty blender for touch-ups, and she even stayed for a few extra minutes once the photographers were ready to start my portraits in case we needed to adjust anything before photos.

I also want to mention that because my wedding was about three hours from where I live, I wasn’t able to find time to schedule a hair or makeup trial beforehand. Reagan took that into consideration and came a little early so we would have plenty of time to talk through exactly what I wanted before getting started. Even without a trial, she executed my vision perfectly.

Reagan made me feel comfortable, beautiful, and taken care of all morning, and I could not have been happier with how everything turned out. I would absolutely recommend her!
